GCAR FAQ for CE and Professional Development Courses

Receiving Campus Emails

  • Q: I’m unable to find my GCAR Education Campus welcome and reminder emails for upcoming classes and meetings.

    A: In order for emails from the GCAR Education Campus to reach you, you will need to allow this email address to go to your inbox. If you are part of a brokerage, you may need your IT Team to edit this setting for you. Allow email from: [email protected].

Class Policies and Handouts

  • Q: If I'm late for class, can I make the time up?

    Late arrivals into a CE class will not be admitted, regardless of the reason. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but this is a state regulation that we must adhere to with no exceptions. You will be required to attend the whole class in order to receive a course completion certificate and CE credit.

  • Q: I took a class a few days ago and it had a really great handout. Can I get that emailed to me?

    A: Course materials are available for most classes for ten (10) days. You may retrieve them from your course on your campus My Dashboard.

  • Q: Will my course ever have the potential to be canceled?

    A: GCAR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that have not yet begun as needed. Our minimum enrollment requirement is ten (10) students. Students enrolled in a rescheduled or canceled course that has not yet begun will be given a minimum of 24-hour notice of the cancellation or new course schedule.

  • Q: How do I get my Course Certificate of Completion?

    A: When you complete a course there are instructions that guide you on how to get your certificate. Your certificate of completion will be made available to you via your GCAR Student/Member Dashboard, once you complete the course completely. This means completing all lesson modules to 100% and passing any required quizzes and exams, according to that course's specific requirements. At this point, your course completion will be verified. You may return to the My Account page to retrieve your certificate at any time. It will remain available in the campus “Certificates” section of My Account . Note: Please allow 24-48 hours for verification and processing.

  • Q: How do I know if my credit has been posted to my license record?

    For Continuing Education: We will report Kansas and/or Missouri licensee continuing education course completions directly to relevant commissions. Please allow 5 business days for processing.

  • Q: I have a question for the Association. Should I post it in our class chat or call the Association? What If I Need to Contact GCAR’s Education Department?
